Favorite Time Academy provides full time, part time, and before/after school care with a preschool program included. Our program includes children from ages six weeks to twelve years old. During the summer months we offer a spectacular fun filled summer camp with special field trips.

Favorite Time Academy is owned and managed by Paul & Elizabeth Walker, a Christian couple who loves working with children and sharing their work life together. Our Favorite Team includes dedicated and loving teachers who are committed to the development and quality of care for each child.

Our facility was created with your child in mind with state-of-the-art classrooms and custom-tailored child amenities. The spacious center was designed by educational experts and childcare consultants to offer the best learning, safety, and fun environment for children.

Learning, play, and good-times with friends makes us the FAVORITE with children.

Hours of Operation and Tuition

We are open Monday thru Friday from 6:30 am until 6:30 pm.

We believe in quality child care and education for all children. We offer tuition rates based on the child’s age, number of scheduled days, and the agreed arrival and departure times. We desire to be The Favorite in Early Childhood Education as well as affordable. We accept private and state subsidies.

A Message From the Walkers

Dear Parents:

We would like to share with you a little about our passion and vision for the center. We started our childcare journey in 1998 working together on Elizabeth’s college papers. As we both got excited about child development and quality childcare, it became more evident that this was the direction God was leading us. We began a small childcare program called Favorite Time Home Child Care which was based out of our home in Lombard, Illinois. We started this work with the belief that our work was an extension of our faith and family. Our vision was to serve and glorify God by demonstrating His love and care for every child and family. As Christian caregivers, we attracted clients from various beliefs, nationalities, and cultural diversities.

Our childcare calling expanded with the vision of one-day building a campus including a childcare center, an infant home, and housing for college intern students. After conducting a search for available facilities in different states, we were excited about the location here in Acworth, Georgia. So, in December of 2004 we purchased Allatoona Academy and in February of 2005, we placed the “Favorite Time” name on the center.

We all have our favorite music, our favorite ice cream, and maybe a favorite vacation spot. Children play favorites too. It might be their favorite color, their favorite toy, their favorite restaurant, and maybe even a favorite bedtime story. Favorite Time Academy desires to be The Favorite in Early Childhood Education for each child, parent, staff member, and partnering organization. As the days, weeks, and months continue to pass we are pouring our heart and energy into the childcare & educational programs that are child centered and parent friendly.
