We are 110% committed to ensuring the safety and security of every child and team member at Favorite Time Academy. We recognize the importance of providing peace of mind for the parents of the children in our care. We are very conscious of the need to provide a safe and secure environment and have policies, procedures, and audits to monitor and ensure compliance.
The safety and welling well being of each child in the classroom and on the playground is another area where we go the extra mile. As such, we continue to train and review procedures with team members regarding safety. Safety audits are routinely done to check the condition of the equipment. We continue to update our procedures and policies as we discover ways to minimize injuries and accidents. All team members receive CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety Training.
Safety encompasses more than the maintenance on the building and equipment, adequate supervision, and basic policies and procedures.
Safety standards include operating at low teacher-child ratios and smaller group sizes. The current licensing standards by the State of Georgia do not provide minimum safety standards when it comes to the high student/child ratios. A childcare center cannot legitimately claim they operate a safe environment (physically, socially, and emotional safe) and run state ratios.
We believe you will agree that we cannot be too careful when it comes to the welfare of your children. This is just one of the many ways we demonstrate our purpose and mission as we care for your child. We value and esteem your trust and confidence.
