Favorite Time Academy offers school age students a program with many choices balanced with structure and direction. Our Tick Tock Club builds on the interests and developmental levels of children in kindergarten through 6th grade. The program offers children free time as well as a wide variety of structured activities that are fun and interactive. The Tick Tock Club provides a nurturing environment that helps students develop and enhance leadership and social skills, self confidence, conflict resolution abilities, academic skills, and interests and hobbies.
When students arrive in the morning they join their friends for social time before boarding the bus to safely transport them to school. In the afternoon they are greeted with a friendly welcome, a nutritious snack, and the opportunity to discuss their day. The afternoon schedule provides students the choice to work in the computer lab or focus on their school homework with the assistance of our mentor staff. Students enjoy social activities, arts and crafts, drama and science experiments. Students may participate in interactive group games and activities or exercise and play on the playground or Water Park. Students play, explore, create, learn new skills, and have opportunities to kick back and relax. They are encouraged to have fun, meet new challenges, and enjoy their afternoon in a safe and stimulating environment. The Tick Tock Club provides quality out-of-school activities that are culturally relevant and tailored to each child’s likes and needs as well as the needs and desires of parents, schools, and the surrounding community.
Favorite Time Academy assists students with their homework in a low pressure environment. Children practice the skills that will guide them towards future academic success. By encouraging children to have fun while learning and allowing each child to progress at their own pace, our approach offers an ideal enrichment to the school year. In addition, the students will have the opportunity to participate in special events and field trips.
